Engagement Overview:
DroneDeploy is seeking a Product Support Consultant based in Brazil to provide localized, real-time support to customers across Brazil and the broader LATAM region. This consultant will play a critical role in improving product adoption, reducing support friction caused by language and time-zone gaps, and supporting high-value enterprise customers operating in Portuguese- and Spanish-speaking markets.
This is a contract-based, remote engagement focused primarily on reactive product support, with opportunities to contribute to onboarding assistance and customer education as needs evolve. The consultant will work closely with DroneDeploy’s global Support team and cross-functional partners.

Scope of Work:
Provide front-line product support to LATAM customers using DroneDeploy’s drone flight, 360 imagery, and 3D data platform
Resolve customer issues efficiently via email, chat, and phone using Zendesk, with an emphasis on responsiveness during Brazil business hours
Apply GIS and geospatial expertise to troubleshoot data capture, processing, and analysis workflows
Support customer onboarding and early adoption by clarifying workflows, resolving setup issues, and reinforcing best practices
Identify recurring issues or friction points specific to LATAM users and share insights with Product, Engineering, and Support leadership
Contribute to internal and external documentation to improve self-service and reduce repeat issues
Support or lead ad-hoc virtual trainings or enablement sessions for Portuguese-speaking customers, as needed
Qualifications:
Fluency in Portuguese and English (written and spoken); Spanish is a strong plus
University degree or equivalent experience in GIS, Geomatics, or a related field
Strong troubleshooting and analytical problem-solving skills
Ability to explain complex technical concepts clearly to non-technical users
High degree of customer empathy and professionalism, including experience supporting enterprise users
Strong time management skills and ability to work independently in a remote, contract-based role
Availability to work Monday–Friday, either 7:00 AM–4:00 PM or 8:00 AM–5:00 PM BRT (UTC-3)
Preferred Expertise:
Experience supporting enterprise customers in agriculture, construction, energy, or infrastructure
Hands-on experience with 360 cameras and reality capture workflows
High-accuracy mapping experience (GCPs, RTK, PPK)
Familiarity with GIS production systems, CAD environments, or photogrammetry tools
Experience with APIs, SQL, SSO troubleshooting
Prior experience using Zendesk, JIRA, Confluence, or Google Workspace
