Crystal Harding-Jenkins has joined Capitol Health Network as Director of our Navigator Academy program, replacing Fahm Saetern.
Crystal holds a Master’s Degree in Social Work from California State University-Sacramento. She earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work with a minor in Business Management from Alabama State University in Montgomery.
For the past nearly seven years, Crystal was with Fair Oaks-based nonprofit LifeSTEPS, Inc., which provides social services to low-wage earners living in affordable housing—including children, teens and adults. Most recently she was Regional Supervisor of Social Services, overseeing services to more than 30 apartment communities in the Sacramento area. In addition to managing staff, she conducted outreach, oversaw after-school youth enrichment programs and planned and coordinated community events designed to connect families with their neighborhoods. Her professional experience also includes nearly two years with Horizons Youth Services at the Sacramento Job Corps Center.
Crystal is also very active in the community and has been a program chair and mentor with the Association of Citizens & Friends of Liberia since 2009.
